Each piece of work starts with a clear question, scope and intended output. We then gather and test the available evidence, analyse the wider system around it and deliver the findings in a practical written form.

  2. Gather the evidence. Review relevant published material, supplied information, operational context and other agreed sources.
  3. Analyse the system. Identify important relationships, dependencies, gaps, constraints and areas requiring further clarification.

OTOS Digital Ltd is an independent research and advisory company founded by Dean Butler.

Dean brings a long commercial and technology background to work that requires research, synthesis and clear communication across complicated subject areas. OTOS Digital is structured to take on focused commissions directly and to work with specialist external expertise where a brief requires it.

We work with public bodies, service organisations, businesses and mission-led organisations on defined research, analysis and reporting projects.
